Veteran’s Day

Veterans Day is a national holiday observed on November 11 to honor military veterans who have served in the United States Armed Forces. Originally marking the armistice that ended World War I in 1918, the day recognizes the service, sacrifice, and commitment of veterans across all branches and eras. It is a time for communities to pause, express gratitude, attend ceremonies or parades, and support veterans and their families through words, actions, and local service opportunities. At Harmony Church, we remember and give thanks for veterans’ service, offer prayers for their wellbeing, and invite the community to join in honoring those who have served.
