St Patrick's Day
Happy St Patrick’s Day
St. Patrick was a 5th-century Christian missionary and bishop credited with bringing Christianity to Ireland. Born in Roman Britain, he was captured and enslaved as a teenager and taken to Ireland, where he worked as a shepherd. After escaping and returning home, he later felt called to return to Ireland as a missionary. Patrick established churches, trained clergy, and used familiar symbols and stories to explain Christian teachings—most famously using the three-leafed shamrock to illustrate the Trinity. His writings, including the Confessio, provide insight into his life and faith. Celebrated on March 17, St. Patrick is honored for his role in Ireland’s Christianization and his legacy of evangelism and pastoral care.

Ash Wednesday
Ash Wednesday
Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the Lenten season — a time of reflection, repentance, and renewal. Observed with the imposition of ashes in the shape of a cross, the day calls believers to remember their mortality and God’s mercy, to confess what separates them from God, and to prepare their hearts for the journey toward Easter. At Harmony Church we invite you to join a renewed commitment in a season of spiritual growth and service. All are welcome to participate as we seek restoration and hope together.
President's Day
Presidents Day is a national observance honoring the leaders who have shaped the United States, celebrated on the third Monday in February. Originally established to commemorate George Washington’s birthday, the day now recognizes the office of the presidency and the service of all U.S. presidents. It’s an opportunity to reflect on leadership, civic responsibility, and the ideals that guide our nation. Many communities mark the day with educational programs, moments of reflection, and volunteer activities that encourage public service and unity.
Valentine's Day
Happy Valentine’s Day
Valentine’s Day is a time to celebrate love in all its forms—romantic, familial, and friendly. It’s a gentle reminder to express gratitude, show kindness, and deepen the connections that sustain us. Whether through a thoughtful note, a shared meal, or simple acts of service, the day invites us to pause and honor the people who matter most. At its best, Valentine’s Day encourages generosity of heart and the everyday practice of caring for one another.

CHRISTMAS SUNDAY !!
Jesus as King
CHRISTMAS SUNDAY !!
Join us on this special day as we celebrate Christmas with great Christmas music, a message about Jesus as our Savior and communion.
Jesus’ message was never limited to “receive Him to go to heaven” or even simply “love more.” His central message was far greater, deeper, and more transformative: the Kingdom of God.
He began His ministry with the words, “Repent, for the Kingdom of God is near.” He urged us, “Seek first God’s Kingdom,” because He knew everything else in life would find its right place when God is placed first.
When God truly becomes King in our lives — even above the people we cherish most — our capacity to love actually grows. We love better, deeper, and more sacrificially because our love flows from Him, not from our own limited strength.
Idolatry happens when anything else becomes king in our hearts — our relationships, our ambitions, our fears, our comforts. But the God who revealed Himself in Jesus invites us into a different way of life, a Kingdom way, where He reigns and everything else aligns.
Put Him first, and watch how every area of life becomes more whole, more grounded, and more loving than ever before.
THIRD SUNDAY OF ADVENT
On The Inside Looking Out
Jesus came with open arms — to receive everyone and to draw people together, not push them apart. Yet so often, we create our own criteria for who belongs in God’s Kingdom and who doesn’t. We use labels, assumptions, and expectations that Jesus never asked us to carry.
But Christ’s mission was simple and powerful: to draw all people to Himself. No exceptions. No prerequisites. No perfect résumé required.
Wherever you are in life — in joy or in struggle, in certainty or in searching — you can come to God and find acceptance, grace, and a place to belong. Jesus didn’t come to narrow the way. He came to open the door wide.
And that door is still open today… for everyone.
SECOND SUNDAY OF ADVENT
Rumors of Raptures and Revival
We’ve all heard the talk — the rumors of a coming rapture, the hope of a sweeping revival. But in the middle of waiting for the “big” moments, let’s not miss the small, sacred ways God is already moving in our lives every single day. His whispers, His nudges, His quiet answers — they matter.
Remember, during the 400 silent years before Jesus arrived, God’s people were waiting for a Messiah who looked and acted a certain way. And when He finally came, many missed Him… simply because He didn’t fit their expectations.
Let’s not make the same mistake. Let’s open our eyes, tune our hearts, and follow the everyday work of God that is already unfolding around us. Sometimes the greatest moves of God begin in the smallest moments.
