NEIGHBORHOOD FALL FEST: TRUNK OR TREAT, Sunday, October 25 2-4pm

This year, Harmony Church is hosting its annual Fall Fest and Trunk or Treat event on Sunday, October 25 from 2-4pm for our neighbors. This is always a free and fun way to spend your afternoon. There will be games, decorated trunks, special coffee for a cool day, food and more, and it is all FREE! Come out and enjoy spending time with your neighbors and making new friends! Kids will have a great time and are welcome to dress up in costumes. See you then!

Hello! My name is Hailey Brame, and I’m delighted to be serving as the new Children’s Ministry Director at Harmony Church.

I have spent the past nine years in early childhood education and hold an associate degree in Early Childhood Education. My husband, Jesse, and I have been eager to return to ministry, and we are so thankful to have found Harmony Church. We’re excited to see how God will use us for his Kingdom!

Jesse and I have two wonderful children, our daughter Joelle, who is 4, and our son August, who is 3. As I step into this new role, I’m excited to bring our children’s program to life through worship, meaningful relationships with our children and families, and a strong foundation in Christ.

My heart’s desire is to share the love of Christ through every interaction and every conversation, creating a place where everyone feels at home, welcomed, and reminded that they belong. I look forward to seeing how God will shape and grow our children’s ministry in the days ahead.

We would love for you and your family to join us as we grow together in faith!

DEVELOPING A BETTER CHURCH
@ HARMONY FOR YOU - OUR NEIGHBORS!

Harmony Church is currently making updates and renovations to many aspects of the church. This summer we completed new landscaping, new signage, new lights and a new welcome center. We still will be installing a softer and safer surface in the playground for children later this fall. We will continue to update and upgrade every aspect of our church to make it more accommodating for you!

THURSDAY CHAIR EXERCISE CLASS @ HARMONY CHURCH, 9:30am

Every Thursday morning at Harmony Church, you can attend a chair exercise class beginning at 9:30am. It is free, a great way to exercise without standing and to meet new people! It is held in the multipurpose room. All are invited to attend!

YOUR HEALTH MINUTE

Exercise lowers depression risk. Quality sleep does the same. A new study of more than 320,000 adults finds that the two habits reinforce each other, and that neglecting one weakens what the other can do. Researchers point to shared biological pathways. Both exercise and sleep regulate stress hormones, inflammation, and the body's internal clock, all of which shape mood over time. Exercise cannot fully compensate for poor sleep, but good sleep supports mental health at every activity level. For long-term mood support, the two work best together, not in place of each other.

OCTOBER THOUGHT - LIVING IN COMMUNITY

While we all like our space and privacy, we are still humans living on the same planet and in community with other people. This is the real world, not a virtual world. Community is both fragile and resilient. It can be broken, but it can also be healed. It can be strained, but it can be renewed. God never gives up on us. May we not give up on each other.

May the Lord bless you with His peace!
