HARMONY'S NEIGHBORHOOD TRUNK OR TREAT EVENT with KONA ICE - Sunday, October 26
Harmony Church will be hosting a neighborhood Trunk or Treat Fun Fall Event on Sunday, October 26 from 2-4pm on our grounds. Kona Ice will be available and free to everyone! There will be trunks, decorations, games and food available. This will be a fun and fully free event for everyone in the family. You are invited to dress in costumes or just come as you are. We look forward to seeing all of you again at this event!
NEW HOPE THANKSGIVING BLESSING GIVE-AWAY
New Hope Ministries, 99 W Church St., Dillsburg, will be hosting their annual Thanksgiving Blessing Give-Away on Saturday, November 22. If your family or you know of a family who could use a Thanksgiving meal this year, please contact New Hope for more information at 717-432-3053 or nhm-pa.org.
HARMONY CHURCH HOSTING COMMUNITY THANKSGIVING SERVICE, November 20
Harmony Church will be hosting the annual community Dillsburg Thanksgiving service, Thursday, November 20. There is a dessert hour (please bring a dessert with you) from 5-6pm in the multipurpose room followed by the worship service at 6pm. One of our own worship leaders, Ayodeji Okubanjo and his friends will be leading worship and Pastor Thad Sales from Calvary Methodist Church in Dillsburg will be sharing the message. The offering will go to New Hope Ministries (please write out checks to "New Hope Ministries").

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD PROJECT COMING THIS FALL
Again this year Harmony Church will be participating in Samaritan Purse's project, "Operation Christmas Child" where people fill a shoebox and have it sent to a child somewhere in the world that won't otherwise get a Christmas gift. If you would like to be a part of this, you may pick up a shoe box at Harmony Church beginning the first Sunday of October, fill your box and return it to us by November 9th. The church will provide shoeboxes, instructions, labels and shipping them to where they need to go after being received at the church.
DILLSBURG SENIOR ACTIVITY CENTER NEEDS YOUR HELP
Many seniors in our area are struggling. The Dillsburg Senior Activity Center at 1 N 2nd St., in Dillsburg helps to service the needs of seniors in our area. They can use your help! They are in need of volunteers to drive for their home delivery meal program. And they are looking for volunteers to help with things like cutting grass and doing some upkeep at the center. THURSDAY CHAIR EXERCISE CLASS@ HARMONY CHURCH, 9:30am
Every Thursday morning at Harmony Church, you can attend a chair exercise class beginning at 9:30am. It is free, a great way to exercise without standing and meet new people! It is held in the multipurpose room
SURFACE BREAKERS CONNECTION GROUP
If you are looking for a space to connect with other people and talk about the ups and downs of life, this might be the group for you. This group meets each Monday evening from 7:00-8:00pm at Harmony Church. It is not a class. Each week is different. You don't have to talk; you can just attend and listen. You are always welcome to give it a try. If you decide it's not for you, no one will pressure you. The purpose of the group is to help people in our neighborhood find connection and community with others.
